Oliver Clayton was born on July 29th, 1859.1 Oliver Clayton's father was William Henry Cooper and his mother was Mary Bolin. His paternal grandparents were Elbert Emberson Cooper and Nancy Wann. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Emerson Elbert, William Otto, Loretta Elvira and Cora Wann. He was the oldest of the five children.1 -
