Elmer Franklin Champion 
1 Elmer Franklin's father was William Elmer Champion and his mother was Ella Lula Bryant. His paternal grandparents were William Brastus Champion and Emma Melissa Hartley; his maternal grandparents were W. Thomas Bryant and Isabelle Smith. He had four brothers and two sisters, named John Morris, William Heyward, Thomas Gilliam, Edwin Bryant (Jack), Annie Belle and Nettie Lou. He died in June 1982.1
