John Wesley Back

John Wesley was born on July 19th, 1859 in Letcher Co., KY.¹ John Wesley's father was John Back and his mother was Sarah Caudill. His paternal grandparents were Henry Back and Susannah Maggard; his maternal grandparents were William C. Caudill and Nancy Craft. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named David, Henry J., William, Moses M., James S., Bemjamin D, Isom Marion, Susannah, Nancy and Rebecca. He was the third youngest of the eleven children.¹
