Daniel was born on July 16th, 1814 in Potton, Brome, Quebec, Canada. Daniel's father was Ezra Sargent and his mother was Hannah Rynes. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Sargent and Miriam Tucker. He had three brothers and a sister, named Samuel Ezra, Stephen, Nathaniel and Dolly. He was the second youngest of the five children. He died at the age of 77 on October 14th, 1891 in Dunkin, Brome, Quebec, Canada.-
