Jared Curtis was born on March 13th, 1855 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah. Jared Curtis' father was Jared Curtis Roundy and his mother was Louisa Jenne. His paternal grandparents were Shadrack Roundy and Betsey Quimby. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Shadrach Jenne, George Snyder, Franklin Spencer, Evalyn Aurelia Lovisa, Sarah Lovisa, Ida May, Roseanna Annie and Maud Serene. He was the second oldest of the nine children. He had two half-brothers and four half-sisters, named William Alfred, Curtis Lorenzo, Julia, Clara, Nell and Lucy Jane. He died at the age of 69 on December 16th, 1924 in Huntsville, Weber, Utah. He was buried in December 1924 in Wanship, Summit, Utah.-
