Regilla was born about 0989 in Verdun-sur-Meuse, Meuse, France. Regilla's father was Godfrey "The Prisoner" de Verdun and her mother was Mahaud Billung of Saxony. Her paternal grandparents were Gozelin of Bidgau and Uda of Metz; her maternal grandparents were Hermann Billung and Hildegardis von Westerberg. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Gozelon, Hermann, Adalbero, Frederic, Godefroi, Ermentrude, Adelheid of and Irmgard. She died in 1081.General Notes
