Alice was born in Rouen, Seine-Inferieure, Normandy, France.  Alice's father was William I of Normandy and her mother was Matilda Forrester.  Her paternal grandparents were Robert I of Normandy and Herleve of Falasia; her maternal grandparents were Baudouin V of Flanders and Adele (Alix) Capet of France. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Richard, Henry I 'Beauclerc' of, Robert "Curthose" of, William, Gundreda of, Cicily and Constance.  She died in Charente-Maritime, France.  She was buried in Abby of Holy Trinity, Caen, Normandy.


Alice's family with Etienne II Henri De Blois

‌Alice and Etienne II Henri were married in a religious ceremony in Chartres Cathedral, Breteuil, France.  They had ten sons and seven daughters, named Philip, Humbert, Eustache, Eudo III, Henry, Guillaume, Theobald IV, Stephen of, Henry, Odo, Lithuise Adela, Margaret, Maud, Alice, Eleanore, Agnes and Lucia Mahaut.
