Stephen Barfield 
Stephen was born about 1838. Stephen's father was John Barfield and his mother was Margaret Bolls or Boles. His paternal grandparents were Jesse Hatcher and Sarah Jane Floyd. He had two brothers and three sisters, named John W., Jefferson, Sarah J., Elizabeth and Camariece. He was the second oldest of the six children.-
