Agnes of was born in Aquitaine, France.  Agnes of's father was Eudes de Poitiers and her mother was Agnes de Bourgogne.  Her paternal grandparents were William V of Aquitaine and Prisca of Gascony; her maternal grandparents were Orthon-William of Macon and Ermentrude (Irmtrude) of Rheims. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Guillaume V D'Aigret, William VI of, Beatrice and Adelaide of.  She died on December 14th, 1077 in Schwaben, Bavaria.

‌Agnes of and Henry III "The Black" of were married in a religious ceremony on November 21st, 1043.  They had a son and a daughter, named Heinrich and Judith.
