William Basse Sr. 
William was born on March 29th, 1654 in Jamestown,Isle of Wight County,Virginia.1 William's father was John Basse and his mother was Keziah Elizabeth Tucker. His paternal grandparents were Nathaniel Basse and Mary Jourdan; his maternal grandfather is Cheif Robin Tucker The Elder. He had four brothers and two sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Nathaniel, Samuel, Richard, John, Keziah, Elizabeth Keziah and Jordan. He was the third youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 87 on August 13th, 1741 in Nansemond,Virginia.1 -
