Edward Bass 
Edward was born in 1698 in Bertie Precinct,Abemarle Co.,North Carolina.1 Edward's father was John Bass Sr. and his mother was Love Harris. His paternal grandparents were William Basse Sr. and Catherine Elizabeth Lanier; his maternal grandfather is Richard Harris and his maternal grandmother was Ann. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Moses, William, Aaron, John, Keziah, Loucy Or Lovey, Mary, Joudath, Patience and Sarah. He died at the age of 80 in 1778 in Dobbs County,North Carolina.2 -
