Rudolf I Von was born in 1274. Rudolf I Von's father was Ludwig II Von+ Wittelsbach and his mother was Mathilde Von+ Habsburg. His paternal grandparents were Otto II Von+ Wittelsbach and Agnes+ Guelph; his maternal grandparents were Rudolf IV Von+ Habsburg and Gertrude Von+ Hohenberg. He had a brother and two sisters, named Ludwig III Von+, Mathilde Von and Agnes Von+. He was the oldest of the four children. He had a half-brother named Ludwig Von.
