Maximilian II Joseph Von was born on November 28th, 1811 in Munich, Germany. Maximilian II Joseph Von's father was Ludwig Von Wittelsbach and his mother was Theresa Von Sachsen-Altenburg. His maternal grandparents were Friedrich Von Sachsen-Altenburg and Charlotte Von Mecklenburg-Strelitz. He had two brothers named Luitpold Von and Adalbert Von.
