Hermann De+ was born about 0970. Hermann De+'s father was Godefroi D'+ Ardennes and his mother was Mathilde Von+ Sachsen. His paternal grandfather is Gonzelon De+ Basse-Lorraine and his paternal grandmother was Oda De+ Metz; his maternal grandfather was Hermann Billung Von+ Sachsen and his maternal grandmother is Hildegarde Von+ Westerburg. He had a brother and two sisters, named Gozelon I De+, Irmgard De+ and Gerberge De+. He was the second oldest of the four children. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Jean De+, Arnoul II Of+ and Bertha Of+. He died in 1028.General Notes
