Heinrich III Von was born about 1340. Heinrich III Von's father was Heinrich II Von Veldenz and his mother is Agnes Von Sponheim. His paternal grandparents were Georg I Von Veldenz and Agnes Von Leiningen; his maternal grandparents were Simon II Von Sponheim and Elizabeth Von Kleve. He had a sister named Adelheid Von.
