Micah was born on January 20th, 1722 in Tiverton, Newport Co., RI. Micah's father was Samuel Tompkins and his mother was Sarah Coe. His maternal grandparents were John Coe and Sarah Peabody. He was an only child. He died at the age of 49 on March 15th, 1771 in Little Compton, Newport Co., RI.General Notes
