William Tanfield 
William was born in 1489 in Gayton, Northamptonshire, England. William's father was Robert III Tanfield and his mother is Catherine Neville. His paternal grandparents were Robert Tanfield and Elizabeth Brooke; his maternal grandparents were Edward+ Neville and Catherine+ Howard. He was an only child.
