Isobel was born about 1370. Isobel's father was Robert+ Stewart and her mother is Janet+ MacAlan. Her paternal grandfather was James+ Stewart; her maternal grandparents are Eoin Dougal+ MacAlan and Janet+ Isaac. She had two brothers and a sister, named John+, Robert and Elizabeth+.
