Johann III Von was born about 1310. Johann III Von's father was Heinrich III Von Sponheim and his mother was Loretta Zu Salm. His paternal grandfather was Johann II Von Sponheim and his paternal grandmother is Katharina Von Ochsenstein; his maternal grandfather was Johann II Zu Salm and his maternal grandmother is Jeanne De Joinville.
