Reuben E. Shackelford 
Reuben E. was born on April 19th, 1793. Reuben E.'s father was Edmund Shackelford and his mother was Judith Eastin. His maternal grandparents were Phillip Eastin and Elizabeth Douglas. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Philip Eastin, Edmund Jr., John, Charles E., Thomas Jefferson, Nancy R., Mary `Polly`, Elizabeth D., Judith M., Sally and Sarah W.. He was the fifth youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 44 on June 10th, 1837.General Notes
