Sophia Sells 
Sophia was born on March 22nd, 1785 in Bedford Co., PA. Sophia's father was Ludwick Sells and her mother was Catherine Deardorf. Her paternal grandparents were Anthony* Sells and Catherine* Schneider. She had six brothers and a sister, named Samuel, John, Benjamin, Peter, William H., George and Margaret. She was the fourth youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 62 on July 6th, 1847 in Dublin, Franklink Co., OH.General Notes
Sophia Sells was first cousin to the originators of the Sells Brothers Circus.
