John Le was born on July 22nd, 1435 in Bolton, Yorkshire, England. John Le's father was Henry Le Scrope and his mother was Elizabeth Le Scrope. His paternal grandparents were Richard Le Scrope and Margaret Neville; his maternal grandparents were John Le Scrope and Elizabeth Chaworth. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Richard Le, Robert Le, Elizabeth Le, Margaret Le, Agnes Le and Eleanor Le. He was the oldest of the seven children.General Notes
