His paternal grandparents were Duncan I Of+ Scotland and Sibyl Of+ Huntingdon. He had a brother named Heth+. He was the younger of the two children. He had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named David I Of+, Alexander I Of+, Paul+, Matilda+ Of and Mary Of+.
