Alexander I Of+ was born about 1077 in Atholl, Perthshire, Scotland. Alexander I Of+'s father was Malcolm III Of+ Scotland and his mother was Margaret Of+ England. His paternal grandparents were Duncan I Of+ Scotland and Sibyl Of+ Huntingdon; his maternal grandparents were Edward Of+ England and Agatha Billungen Von+ Braunschweig. He had a brother and two sisters, named David I Of+, Matilda+ Of and Mary Of+. He was the second oldest of the four children. He had two half-brothers named Heth+ and Duncan II Of+. He died on April 23rd, 1124 in Stirling, Stirlingshire, Scotland. He was buried in Dunfermline Abbey, Fife, Scotland.General Notes
