Wolf III Von was born on September 8th, 1556. Wolf III Von's father was Wolf II Von Schonburg-Glauchau and his mother was Anna Schenk Von Landsberg. His paternal grandparents were Ernst Von Schonburg-Glauchau and Amalie Von Leisnig; his maternal grandparents were Wilhelm Schenk Von Landsberg and Magdalena Reuss Zu Greiz. He was an only child.
