Dorothea Katharina Von was born in 1562. Dorothea Katharina Von's father was Adolf Von Sayn and her mother was Maria Von Mansfeld. Her paternal grandparents were Johann Von Sayn and Elizabeth Von Holstein-Schauenburg; her maternal grandparents were Johann Georg Von Mansfeld and Katharina Von Mansfeld. She was an only child.
