Philippe II De was born on February 5th, 1438 in Chambery, France.  Philippe II De's father was Ludovico I De Savoie and his mother was Anne De Lusignan.  His paternal grandparents were Amadeo VIII (Felice V) De Savoie and Marie De Bourgogne; his maternal grandparents were Janus De Lusignan and Charlotte De Bourbon. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Amadeo IX De, Luigi De, Charlotte De, Margherita De, Agnes De and Bona Di.  He was the third oldest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 59 on November 7th, 1497 in Lemens.
