Philippe De was born in 1278. Philippe De's father was Thomas III De Savoie and his mother was Guye De Bourgogne. His paternal grandparents were Thomas II De Savoie and Beatrice Fieschi; his maternal grandparents were Hugues De+ Bourgogne and Adelheid Von+ Andechs. He was an only child.
