Francois De La was born about 1535. Francois De La's father was Antoine De La Rochefoucauld and his mother is Antoinette D' Amboise. His paternal grandfather was Francois I De La Rochefoucauld and his paternal grandmother is Louise De Crussol; his maternal grandparents were Guy D' Amboise and Francoise Dauphine De L' Espinasse.
