Charles I De was born about 1328. Charles I De's father was Aymar V De Poitiers-Valentinois and his mother was Sybille Des Baux. His paternal grandparents are Aymar IV De Poitiers-Valentinois and Hippolyte De Bourgogne; his maternal grandfather was Bertrand Des Baux and his maternal grandmother is Philippine De Poitiers-Valentinois. He had a brother and three sisters, named Louis I De, Agathe De, Leonore De and Marguerite De. He is the youngest of the five children.General Notes
