Guillaume De was born about 1330. Guillaume De's father was Jean I De Parthenay and his mother was Marie De Beaujeu. His paternal grandparents were Guillaume De Parthenay and Jeanne De Montfort-Le-Rotrou; his maternal grandparents were Guichard De Beaujeu and Jeanne De Geneva. He had a half-sister named Isabeau De.
