Demetrios Palaiologos 
Demetrios was born about 1290. Demetrios' father was Andronikos II Palaiologos and his mother was Violante Di Montferrato. His paternal grandparents were Michael VIII Palaiologos and Theodora Vatatzaina; his maternal grandparents were Guillaume VII Di Montferrato and Beatriz De Castilla. He had a brother named Teodoro I. He was the younger of the two children. He had a half-brother named Michael IX. He died after 1343.General Notes
