Sallie Ann was born on December 14th, 1828 in Madison Co., KY. Sallie Ann's father was William Orchard and her mother was Jane Richardson. Her paternal grandparents were Alexander Orchard and Sarah Salley Owens. She had four sisters named Mary Ann, Fannie Ann, Rebecca Jane and Nancy. She died at the age of 78 on August 6th, 1907 in Bur Hurrican Ch Cem, Coles Co., IL.General Notes
