Julia M. was born in 1835 in MO. Julia M.'s father was James Monroe Orchard and her mother is Rosannah Ashbrook. Her paternal grandfather was William Orchard and her paternal grandmother is Elizabeth Crooke. She had five brothers and a sister, named James, William A., Alexander Hamilton, George, Oscar Columbus and Elizabeth. She was the fourth oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 44 on July 31st, 1879 in Rolla, MO..General Notes
