James Orchard 
James was born about 1829 in MO. James' father was James Monroe Orchard and his mother is Rosannah Ashbrook. His paternal grandfather was William Orchard and his paternal grandmother is Elizabeth Crooke. He had four brothers and two sisters, named William A., Alexander Hamilton, George, Oscar Columbus, Julia M. and Elizabeth. He is the oldest of the seven children.General Notes
