Robert Ogle 
Robert was born about 1486. Robert's father was Ralph Ogle and his mother was Margaret Gascoyne. His paternal grandparents were Owen Ogle and Eleanor Hilton; his maternal grandfather was William Gascoyne and his maternal grandmother is Margaret Percy. He had a brother and a sister, named John and Dorothy. He is the oldest of the three children.General Notes

Commissioner of Peace for Northumberland (probably Feb. 1530 also)
"ROBERT (OGLE), LORD OGLE, son and heir, aged 22 or 23 in 1512/3. He fought at Flodden, 9 September 1513, and was knighted after the battle by the Earl of Surrey. He was summoned to Parliament 23 November 1514 and to the Parliament which reassembled 3 November 1529, by writs directed Roberto Ogle, de Ogle Chl'r. He was a commissioner of peace for Northumberland 1514, 1515, and, probably, February 1530, for co. Durham and Sedbergh in 1519; and attended Margaret, Queen of Scotland, at Morpeth in November and December 1515 and in April 1516. He was actively engaged in the defence of the Border and in raids across it from 1519; Captain of Norham Castle in 1519; Captain of Wark Castle in October 1523; and chief Deputy Warden from 1528. He married, before 28 December 1515, Anne, sister of Richard, LORD LUMLEY, and 1st daughter of Thomas LUMLEY, son and heir apparent of George, Lord Lumley, probably by Elizabeth, illegitimate daughter of EDWARD IV. He died, between 28 September 1530 and 26 January 1531/2. His widow married, 2ndly, in or before 1536, George OGLE, sometime of Ogle Castle. [CP 10:33-4]"
