Vollmar Von was born about 1388. Vollmar Von's father was Rudolf II Von Ochsenstein and his mother was Kunigunde Von Geroldseck. His paternal grandparents were Otto VI Von Ochsenstein and Elizabeth Von Hessen. He had two sisters named Agnes Von and Klara Von. He was the second oldest of the three children.
