Adolf I Von was born about 1307. Adolf I Von's father was Gerlach I Von Nassau-Weilburg and his mother was Agnes Von Hessen. His paternal grandparents were Adolf Von Nassau and Imagina Von Limbourg; his maternal grandfather was Heinrich I Von+ Hessen and his maternal grandmother is Mechtild Von Kleve. He had a brother and two sisters, named Johann I Von, Elizabeth Von and Adelheid Von. He was the oldest of the four children. He died on January 17th, 1370.General Notes
