Charles Sigismond De was born on February 20th, 1697. Charles Sigismond De's father was Paul Sigismond De Montmorency-Luxembourg and his mother was Marie Anne De La Tremoille. His paternal grandparents were Francois Henri De Montmorency and Madeleine Charlotte De Clermont-Tonnerre; his maternal grandparents were Francois De La Tremoille and Yolande Julie De La Tremoille. He was an only child. He died at the age of 88 on March 26th, 1785 in Paris, France.General Notes
