Her paternal grandparents were Robert II Despencer De+ Montgomery and Agnes De+ Ponthieu; her maternal grandparents were Eudes I De+ Bourgogne and Sibylle De+ Bourgogne. She had three brothers and a sister, named Guy II Ponthieu De+, Jean I D'Alencon De, Thurston Despencer De+ and Adelia Ela Talvas De+. She had a half-sister named Agnes De.
