William Montagu-Douglas-Scott 
William was born on September 9th, 1831 in Montgagu House, Whitehall, Middlesex, England. William's father was Walter Montagu-Douglas-Scott and his mother was Charlotte Thynne. His paternal grandparents were Charles Scott and Harriet Katherine Townsend; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Thynne and Isabella Elizabeth Byng. He was an only child. He died at the age of 83 on November 5th, 1914.General Notes
