Jean Jacques Michelet 
Jean Jacques was born in 1697 in Alsace, Lorraine, France. He died at the age of 72 on August 18th, 1769 in Whitehall, Northampton, PA.General Notes
Jean Jacques Michelet (later Mickley/Mickle)was one of the French Huguenot refugees who fled to Rotterdam, Holland. He sailed on the ship "Hope" May 6, 1733 and arrived in PA 8/28/1733. He signed the oath of allegiance "Muckli." They had four sons and two daughters, named John Jacob, John Martin, John Peter, Henry, Mary Magdalena and Barbara.
