Francis Mercer 
Francis was born about 1590 in St. Anglois, Southampton, Hampshire, England. Francis' father was Jean+ Mercier and his mother was Jeanne+ Leclerc. His paternal grandfather was Jehan Cocquier Le+ Mercier and his paternal grandmother is Perinne De La+ Houe; his maternal grandparents are Arnoul+ Leclerc and Jenna+ Lippensen. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Daniel, Peter+, Phillip, Samuel, Paul, Jane, Mary, Elizabeth, Judith, Hester and Ann. He was the fifth youngest of the twelve children. He died on January 25th, 1668.General Notes
