Adolf Friedrich Von was born on October 10th, 1873.  Adolf Friedrich Von's father was Friedrich Franz II Von Mecklenburg-Schwerin and his mother was Marie Von Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt.  His paternal grandparents were Paul Friedrich Von Mecklenburg-Schwerin and Alexandrine Von Hohenzollern. He had two brothers and a sister, named Friedrich Wilhelm Von, Heinrich Von and Elizabeth Von.  He was the second youngest of the four children. He had two half-sisters named Maria Pavlovna Von and Anna Von.  He died at the age of 95 on August 5th, 1969.
