Paul I Romanov-Holstein-Gottorp 
Paul I was born on October 1st, 1754 in Palais d'Hiver de Saint Petersbourg. Paul I's father was Pierre III Romanov-Holstein-Gottorp and his mother was Catherine II Anhalt-Zerbst. His paternal grandparents were Karl Von Schleswig-Holstein-Gottorp and Anne Petrovna Romanov; his maternal grandparents were Christian August Von Anhalt-Zerbst and Johanna Von Schleswig-Holstein-Gottorp. He was an only child. He died at the age of 46 on March 23rd, 1801 in Palais Mahailovsk, Saint Petersbourg--Murdered..General Notes
