Richarda De La was born about 1320. Richarda De La's father was Engilbert II De La+ Mark and her mother is Mathilde D'+ Arenberg. Her paternal grandparents were Eberhard I+ De La Mark and Irmgard Von+ Berg. She had two brothers and a sister, named Adolf II De La+, Eberhard De La and Ermengarde De La.
