Mechtild De La was born about 1340. Mechtild De La's father was Adolf II De La+ Mark and her mother is Margareta Von+ Kleve. Her paternal grandfather was Engilbert II De La+ Mark and her paternal grandmother is Mathilde D'+ Arenberg; her maternal grandparents were Dietrich VII Von+ Kleve and Margareta Von+ Geldern. She had a brother and a sister, named Adolf III Von+ and Marguerite De La. She was the oldest of the three children. She died on October 18th, 1390.General Notes
