John Lyon 
John was born on May 8th, 1663 in Castle Huntly. John's father was Patrick Lyon and his mother was Helen Middleton. His paternal grandparents were John Lyon and Elizabeth Maule; his maternal grandparents were John Middleton and Grizel Durham. He had two sisters named Elizabeth and Grizel. He was the oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 49 on May 10th, 1712.General Notes
