Samuel Lemuel was born on March 6th, 1843 in Blacklick Twp., Indiana, PA. Samuel Lemuel's father was William Kunkle and his mother was Susan Learn. His maternal grandparents were John Learn and Elizabetha Ashbaugh. He had a brother and five sisters, named Edward W., Mary, Elizabeth, Sarah, Martha J. and Ellen. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 79 on December 9th, 1922.General Notes
