William Jones 
William was born on December 27th, 1798 in Columbia Co., GA. William's father was George Jones and his mother was Lydia Hobson. His maternal grandparents were Charles Hobson and Sarah Beck. He had two brothers and three sisters, named George Jr., Nathan, Elizabeth, Lydia and Martha. He was the third oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 35 on September 15th, 1834 in Preble Co., OH.General Notes
